Light Painting

Experimenting: I experimented with “painting with light” in a small-format class in my summer semester and this is what I turned in. I played with a long shutter-speed, high ISO, and flash. I had my model walk toward the camera (Canon T1i), pausing periodically, while I walked/crouched about 10 ft in front and to the side of her, flashing my strobe (Vivitar 285 HV). I used a bounce card to block the light from flaring back toward the lens – and really just played with it til I got something that I liked.
